Bomber Command Memorial virtual service

On Sunday 26 June, we held a tribute to all the brave young men who courageously served in Bomber Command through a special, virtual, Bomber Command Memorial service conducted by Reverend (Squadron Leader) Andrew Chapman, Station Chaplain, RAF High Wycombe.

The service included prayers, the Bomber Command Association Collect, a reading by a Bomber Command veteran and a one minute's silence. Accompanying the service, narrated by RAF Benevolent Fund supporter Sue Holderness, there were stories of those who served in Bomber Command by RAF Author and Historian Steve Darlow and information about how the Fund is supporting Bomber Command veterans today to live in comfort and dignity in their own homes.
